The Nutspittle First generation in america

After being married in 1808, John George and Mary Nutspittle come to have 9 children.

1st> Their first child was born in 1808. The child died on Feb 19, 1809. Today, we still do not know what the sex of the child was.
   
1st> Their first son, Francis Joseph, was born in 1810. He was married to Mary Fern in 1835 and he had 5 children. He died in May of 1855 at the age of 44. For the disease or cause of death it was written as "consumption**". [ 1850 Census ]

Three of his 5 children were then to birth 9 grandchildren and 2 of his 9 grandchildren would have 2 great-grandchildren. Both of the two great-grandchildren were never married and did not give life to children. Francis Joseph's line has great-great-...children right into the 21st Century.
   
1st> Mary Ann was born in September of 1814. Mary Anne was widowed twice as she lived until March 16, 1899. She had no children. [ 1870 Census ]
 
1st> George was born in October of 1815. George died on July 3 of 1816.
   
1st> Georgianna was born on December 15. 1818. She was also widowed by two men and also had no children. She died on May 19, 1914 of arterio sclerosis. [ 1850 Census ] Her death certificate shows the maiden name of Nutspittle.
   
1st> Jacob was born on April 3, 1819. He was married to Caroline Paul on October 13, 1842.

(George Henry and his wife, Lydia, gave Jacob 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-great-grandchild (as of 2012).)
   
1st> Angeline was born in 1824. She married William Cassie in 1844 and they had 6 children. None of their children had their own children. [ 1850 Census ] [ 1860 Census ] [ 1870 Census ]
 
1st> Martha was born in 1829, the same year that we lost John George Nutspittle. She married Samual Palmer on February 15, 1857. They had 2 children. One of their children died at age 3. The other child ... [ 1850 Census ]

** Consumption - A progressive wasting away of the body, especially that attended upon pulmonary phthisis, called pulmonary consumption; hence pulmonary phthisis or tuberculosis.
